Q1. What is the theme for TEDxGIBS 2022?

It is “ Learning Beyond”. You can come up with any new/ unique idea in your respective field that you want the world to know about.

Q2. What are you looking for in a TED Speaker?

We are looking for individuals from all disciplineswho have a proven track record of great work in their field. They can be the doers, makers, inventors, advocates, filmmakers and photographers, musicians and artists, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and human rights activists.

Q3. Why should I apply to be a TEDx speaker?

Once selected, you will receive transformational support by equipping you in public speaking and media training and connecting you to a global network of peers and industry leaders.

Q4. Can I apply with my colleague?

We support individuals, and you must apply as an individual. If you are working as a part of a group, we still encourage you to apply. Collaborative teams should select one member to apply as an individual.

Q5. I’m part of TEDxGIBS team? Can I apply to be a TEDx speaker?

No.

Q6. Are there any changes to the program because of the COVID-19 pandemic?

No changes are there in date as of now. The conference is on 17 th Dec 2022. But given the global pandemic, in case this conference gets cancelled, the event may become entirely virtual, depending on expert advice and local health safety protocols.

Q7. How many breaks during the event?

There will be three breaks which include a lunch break and other networking breaks.

Anyone from any age group who has interest can attend the event.

Q3. Is there any dresscode?

Wear casual – wear whatever makes you happy and puts you in an idea-sharing mood, whether that’s your favourite pair of jeans or a designer suit.

Q4. Will I be allowed into the auditorium if I arrive late?

Attendees reaching late (beyond 9.55 am) at the venue will NOT be allowed inside the auditorium.

Q6. Are there any networking opportunities?

Yes! You’ll get to meet and interact with hundreds of brilliant minds from Delhi and beyond. Build your network with vibrant attendees. You can easily approach and talk.

Q7. Do I need to carry an Identity Proof?

Yes. All attendees must carry a valid government verified photo identity card to attend the event. Example: Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Passport, etc.
